10 years ago I went to Ukraine for the first time. I taught English, worked with orphans and built relationships. I liked it so much that after I went home and got married I decided to take my new hubby back with me. Chris and I spent the first couple years of our married life in Ukraine and now are excited to feel God calling us to go back this summer.
We are going July 17-27th with a small team to lead English camps for children and youth in Cherkasy a city close to three hours outside of Kiev. Chris and I met on the mission field, were newlyweds on the mission field and have continued to do children and youth ministry together in our (almost) ten years of marriage. With 3 babies, work, and life we are excited to be able to have this opportunity to serve together again and use our gifts.
For Chris and I to go we need to raise $6,000. This amount includes all our expenses for the trip. Also we are leaving our girls behind and would love your prayers as we prepare our hearts and home for this trip.
God is working, here and around the world. It has been 7 years since we have been back across the ocean to Ukraine. We feel God calling us to make this trip and we pray that if your heart is touched – you will come with us.
If you would like to “join” us on our trip to Ukraine financially or with prayer, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or send me a Facebook Message! =)
Much love to you all,Steph (and Chris too)
