I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
Dear Lord, today I pray that we do our #1 job of remaining, abiding and spending time with you.
Maybe you are like me. I can get really excited about what I feel God is calling me to do and instead of waiting on him I can tend to run ahead and make it happen myself. I get anxious, panicky and impatient to see his glory. In the past I have even struggled with the stress that thoughts of missing out on what God has for me brings. If this resonates with you, here is the truth that you and I need to remind ourselves of every day. God’s timing is perfect and his plan will prevail. He honors those who trust in him, who want to be used by him and who want to see his glory. Rest in him today and know that you will bear much fruit.
