If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5
Dear Lord, today I ask for my heart to be filled with your love and my mind to be filled with your wisdom. I can’t truly lead my family by faith if my heart and mind are not in tune with you and the plan you have for me. I know you have a plan for me, I love you, and I trust you. I humbly ask for you to give me a heart and mind like yours Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
I don’t know about you, but sometimes at the end of the day I just feel lost and drained. I bow my head and fold my hands in prayer and then…. nothing. The words won’t come. I can barely form cohesive thoughts for I am so exhausted, physically, mentally, emotionally. But I know that the Lord hears me even when I don’t say a word. When words won’t come I know that I can always count on His love and His wisdom. So that is exactly what I ask for. I ask for wisdom and clarity. I ask to be drawn in close to Him so the He may reveal to me where I need to be and what I need to be doing.
Question: Is there an area in your life where you could use some clarity? Are you looking for discernment or affirmation? Ask the Lord for wisdom and He will certainly provide it.
