See to it that you complete the ministry you have received in the Lord. Col 4:17 NIV
Young Mamma, don’t get lost in the mundaneness…. with countless hours of patty cake and singing songs, of changing diapers, and feeling overwhelmed by the neediness of it all. Don’t get lost in it. God has a purpose for your love and kindness to those little ones. God has given them to you to be Jesus to them first. To love them with a fierceness only outdone by God himself.
Pay attention to the ministry you have received in the Lord, so that you can accomplish it. Col 4:17 HCSV
Don’t lose hope, Woman trying to do too much. With soccer games to get to , homework to correct and complete and dinner burning in the oven. Don’t lose hope when all you do seems to accomplish very little. When your special needs child takes over and overwhelms your day. Don’t lose hope that there is a plan and a purpose in the midst of it all. Don’t lose hope when you have errands to run, 25 different schedules to keep up on and feel like that if you could have a complete thought it might be a miracle. Don’t lose hope that God wants to use you for his greater purpose.
Be sure to carry out the ministry the Lord gave you. Col 4:17 NLT
Don’t give up, Woman with a house too quiet. With a nest emptied and ghosts of the past haunting your halls. God is not done with you and your life and experience is needed now more than ever. You are not irrelevant. You are precious in his sight, needed with your time tested wisdom for the ones coming behind you. Pour it out. Show it, give it, love boldly and bravely – even if you fear rejection… press forward to complete the mission God has so long given you.
Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it. Col 4:17 NASB
This is the work of Gods hands among us. It is the everyday ordinary meeting the saviors supernatural extraordinary. Our simple offerings are turned into the threads of faith in the tapestry he is making in anothers life. Your greatness will come from what HE does with your ordinary. Your ministry is today. It is here in the lives you touch and the people you invest in.
